For over 50 years, we’ve been providing hope and healing to injured and displaced birds. We strive to provide exceptional care, rehabilitation and refuge to hundreds of birds in need, while fostering a connection with the community and positively impacting the ecosystem.
Our Story
Berkshire Bird Paradise began as a dream to create a safe space for birds in need. Over the years, this sanctuary has become one of the largest bird rehabilitation and rescue centers in the Northeast, providing a home to hundreds of disabled and non-releasable birds. Our founder, Peter Dubacher, dedicated his life to caring for these incredible creatures and educating the public about their importance in our ecosystem.
